What do we do and what is Route Work Window Cleaning:
Citywide cleans windows for Restaurants & Retail store fronts.
Citywide is hired to maintain their glass on a weekly, EOW or Monthly basis.
We hand out routes to employees to service the work on a regular basis
Routes for the most part don’t change. Getting to know your customers and their expectations is very important.
You determine how to get your route done in a timely and consistent basis.
We are the largest Route Window Cleaning Company in Minnesota. How does that help me?
Every other window cleaning company will require you to travel from say down town Minneapolis then to Minnetonka and end up in say Medina. That’s a lot of travel and that costs you a lot of money. If you are assigned a route in Minneapolis, not only will you be in Minneapolis all day you will most likely stay within a 5 mile radius all day long. Most jobs take you 20 minutes or less to do and if you are traveling 20 minutes to your next job, you just cut your hourly wage in half.
What are the benefits of working for Citywide:
After your probationary period, you set your hours
Start at 2am and work till 11am.
Others start at Noon and work till 8pm.
You work on your own and you decide how many hours you want to work each week
All we ask is the work is done consistently, with care & quality in mind & respect for your customers.
Health benefits, 401K retirement plans with a company match and company phones.
We have been doing this in the Twin Cities since the early 1960’s
Citywide is the largest route work window cleaning business in the upper Midwest.
You will be required to route your accounts to minimize travel time which will maximize the payout.
Is this an entry level position or do I need experience?
This is a great opportunity for someone to break into the work force. No experience necessary. We are happy to train you to do the job our way. This is also a great carrier for the right person. We have employees cleaning windows that have been with us for 20+ years and earning a very good living. They are supporting their families and enjoying the freedoms that come with running your own route.
How much and how do you pay?
Everyone is paid by a percentage of what they produce with an hourly guarantee. A base wage to start and train is given but within 3-6 weeks of working on your own, that base wage should never be seen. Right now the base wage is $12.00 per hour but you will be expected to make between $15 & $18.00 per hour within a month of starting. All of the veterans here are making between $20.00 per hour and at times over $30.00
How do I apply?
We give interviews Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday after 3pm by appointment.
Come on in and fill out a 1 page application. The owner will sit and talk with you about the job for about 1/2 an hour or so. Very casual and no trick questions designed to trip you up.
Ground Level not exciting enough for you? We also have a high rise division that is always looking for the more adventurous. Click here to see more about City Heights, Inc.
